Well now - this is Andrew Sullivan commenting on Bush's Meet the Press appearance. This is Andrew Sullivan:

So, in one response, we have a one-word answer that means the opposite of what it should; we have an irrelevance; and we have a pipe dream. And the president expects the people to trust him with their money? If your financial adviser came up with such an answer, after a huge drop in your personal savings and massive loans coming due in a few years, you'd fire him.

That's responding to Bush talking about cutting the budget in half in five years - that's Andrew Sullivan.

Brad DeLong called this a "Claude Rains moment" - meanwhile, as Atrios points out, re Sullivan, "There's nothing we know now, aside from the current state of the Iraq excellent adventure, that we didn't know a year ago." So all the lefties are ho-humming W's debacle - the right - faced with the facts, they either flee into fantasy, along with the president, or stop and go - "oh - wait a sec"...
