It is only right to post something to commemorate today's date. To remember the lives lost, the suffering of those who lived, the pain of those who lost loved ones. And to note again the villainy of the attackers, for this was a conscious act on someone's part to kill large numbers of random strangers, to make a point. It may be tempting to be maudlin, or to politicize the events, but I do not wish to do so. I wish to remember and honor the pain, to condemn the crime, and move on from there.
